The workshop is suitable for those who wish to engage in electronic music production and become acquainted with the work of a music producer. Prior knowledge or experience with electronic music making is not required. Desire for music creativity is enough. The aim of the workshop is to compose one track in the Fruity Loops Studio programme. Together and from scratch. By deconstructing and constructing the beats. Step by step. It’s all about how easy and rewarding this process is. Collect inspiration and bring it with you! We’ll unleash the creativity!

The two-day workshop will be given by Martyna Hormańska, who performs under the alias Zdrada Pałki. Zdrada Pałki a solo DIY kitsch electro project, which wishes to reclaim pop and bring some colour to punk. Martyna’s approach to music can be perceived as anarchist, anti-professional and naively childlike at the same time. She works with basic equipment – a computer – for she believes that less is more and that women and other underrepresented individuals in the scene can use it as a tool to make music and social change.

Workshop will be in English.

The number of participants is limited to 6 persons. Priority will be given to women and trans-identified people. It is advisable that participants bring their own laptops with already installed Fruity Loops Studio programme.
