A Night of DIY Feminist and Queer P0rn0graphy

On 6 March, the International Feminist and Queer Festival Red Dawns returns to Klub Tiffany for the fourth year in a row with one of the most exciting film nights of the season – a programme of DIY queer-feminist p0rn0graphy, which for the first time offers a full two hours of exclusively p0rn0graphic DIY films.

The programme features eleven short films from across the international scene, each exploring the body, desire, fantasy and the political potential of p0rn0graphy through a queer-feminist lens.

From grotesque vampiric trans-fiction (Period Chaos 6XX), BDSM power play (Metal Whoreshop) and rural Greek summer erotica (Chulicha) to ritual intimacies (Siren’s Kiss) and futuristic utopias (Planet Anthurium), the selection ranges from experimental to explicit, from absurd to deeply sensual.

The programme is committed to the representation of bodies, identities and desires often rendered invisible in dominant culture. Participating trans, non-binary, BIPOC and queer filmmakers from around the world reimagine sexualities and power relations on screen through creativity, sensuality and political awareness, with an emphasis on authenticity, bodily autonomy and ethical production.

No censorship, no apologies – at Tiffany, we watch the p0rn we deserve: queer, feminist, DIY.

In each section, the audience will vote for their favourite film – your vote decides which title will receive the festival’s audience award. Come, watch, support independent queer-feminist creators and be part of a community that creates alternative images of pleasure.

All films will be screened in their original languages with English subtitles.

The evening will be split into two sections with a short break in between.

Two eighty-year-old performers stage a radical performance of desire beyond age. Through raw bodies and liberating awkwardness, the film breaks taboos around ageing, pleasure and visibility.

While researching porn archives in São Paulo, Xua drifts into an erotic dream. Cyber and Victor Shawer appear, leading a sequence of BDSM rituals. A film that opens the archive as a space of desire, memory and healing.

A siren lures a wanderer into a desert fantasy of touch and transformation. Trans and non-binary queer creators step in front of the camera to reclaim their erotic narratives through ritual and embodiment.

After the collapse of civilisation, only overgrown greenhouses remain. On a steamy summer night, three nonhuman bodies converge in rituals of pleasure. A collective trans-led utopia born of resistance and imagination.

Shot on 16mm, the film roams queer graveyards and bodies that resist erasure. Through double exposure and archival poetics, it affirms visibility as both memory and defiance. A queer elegy of sex, loss and survival.
