Nežuljka: Workshop of protest embroideries

In the workshop, we will learn some basic stitches for embroidery, and then each participant will be able to embroider her own activist embroidery, for example, a patch or a badge. Registration for the workshop is not required, but a community brunch will also take place at the same time!

If you have your own tools and materials for embroidery (for example hoop, non-stretch fabric, sewing needle, embroidery thread, scissors, pen, safety clips…) you can bring them with you, otherwise quite a few tools and materials will also be available for rental and use.

Neža Ambrožič (a.k.a. nezuljka) is a self-taught embroiderer who uses the medium of embroidery to raise awareness about feminist, anti-authoritarian, and queer topics. She publishes her products on her Instagram profile @nezuljka.
