At the workshop, participants will be introduced to different ways of visual storytelling (“film language”), the basics of video recording and sound capture with a smartphone and/or DSLR camera. They will learn how to use camera settings, framing, frame composition, etc. to achieve the appropriate technical image quality. In addition to the technical aspects of video creation, the workshop will address the substantive issues of recording events, interviews, personal stories. We will learn the rules, we will masterfully violate them and we will bravely experiment with the video form.

Important

With the Ordinance on Interim Measures for the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases COVID-19, which entered into force on 21 February 2022, the Government is also releasing restrictions on cultural activities and the collective exercise of religious freedom. All temporary epidemiological restrictions on the provision of cultural events and other cultural services and on the collective exercise of religious freedom have ceased to apply. Preventive hygiene measures remain crucial. More on gov.si.
