Red Dawns and the editorial board of the online portal site  Spol.si invite you to nominate sexist statements and to elimination of sexism from our media! Media includes social media as well.

Have you read anything so genderly unjust that your eyes stung, lately? March is approaching and with it the ceremony of Bodeča Neža (Thistle) anti-award. There is only a few days left to nominate the most horrible of statements!

The bodeča neža award ceremony is a result of the collaboration between Red Dawns collective and the editorial board of the online portal site spol.si. Of course, we cannot exclude the interested public, who can participate in the voting process at several different levels. Anyone who notices a sexist statement can report it at http://bodeca-neza.spol.si/. A working group, composed of the editorial board of spol.si and collective of Red Dawns decides which nominated statements shall be published. Online voting (available at: http://bodeca-neza.spol.si/glasovanje) begins on 19th February and ends on 4th March at 23:59. The “winning” statement will be voted by the audience at the solemn award ceremony.
