You are kindly invited to slam poetry evening on 8th March, at 20:00, at ŠKUC – Kulturni center Q (Klub Tiffany), ACC Metelkova mesto.

Slam zverine (Slam Beasts) will be roaring from the stage of the coffee house evening in Tiffany. Red Dawns’ first ever slam poetry evening will be all about gender! The participants will ramble about and stumble upon gender stereotypes, oppressive social practices and various dilemmas concerning sex, gender and gendered language (which is especially important for poetry). The poetry slam will be held in its regular form of a competition. The engagement and participation of the audience is expected.

Slam zverine have been active in Maribor since 2016. Performing on stage: Metka Zadravec, Petra Kokol, Ariela Herček, Nina Medved, Matic Ačko in Kladija Volf. The hostess of the evening will be Mojca Pibernik.
