Connecting through touch that does not discriminate

Contact improvisation, which stems from perception exercises, strengthens individuals’ attitude towards their body, and at the same time strengthens the bonds within the collective. Motion exercise with a conscious touch, which does not discriminate, thus leads to the physical release of tension in the body and opens up the subconscious spaces.

Liza Šimenc, a dancer, choreographer and pedagogue, works in the field of contemporary dance in Ljubljana and Berlin.
Through her artistic expression, she carries out interdisciplinary author projects that connect art with social work.
