The first rips the base through the très luxe vanity case. The second smashes the Fender Rhodes to matchwood with the pink axe, the third rocks the drums and the fourth screams into the distortion mike.

Cherry Sunkist (AT)

Sounds, voice and instruments that all clash together and duplicate as if in an acoustic mirror cabinet, metamorphose and can´t be declared to be either real or transformed. This processes results in songs „in drags“ of sorts, where synthesizers seem to be guitars and guitars dress up as drones. Cherry Sunkist manages a special kind of „queer“ producing between sonic deconstruction and destruction, between wave, pop and experimental digital punk.
Her music has been released on the Chicks on Speed Records Sampler „Girl Monster“ as well as on the queer/feminist label „comfortzone“ in Vienna. In the moment she is working on her third studio album.
