Blow Job

The stage in a Monokel Club is temporary transformed into the burlesque and sexually suggestive environment. The host of the evening would be a Las Vegas figure – Mr. Entertainment Giorgio. The star of the show is an international blowing sensation Giorgina, who is qualified to satisfy you. Giorgina approaches the audience with an opening line: ‘Hi there, would you like a blow job?’ The menu offers a selection of ten “Blow Jobs” (e.g. Pop, Rainbow, Vintage, Semi–legal, etc.) to choose from to confront your expectations and enjoy possible interpretations.

Tandem GioGio (Giorgio & Giorgina) is a collaboration between two Amsterdam-based artists: Inga Cholmogorova (1975, LT/NL) and Michał Jurys (1978, PL/NL). While still studying at Gerrit Rietveld Academy both artists worked together on several projects and since 2011 besides their personal artistic practice initiated a tandem GioGio focusing on performances, lectures/artist talks, publications and happenings.

The installation / performance will by followed by a party with DJs Miće Mace (Croatia) at 23.00 (Monokel Club).

On Thursday, March 10^th at 20.00, Duo GioGio is going to hold a lecture / discussion Theory in Practice: Go! at the SCCA Project Room (on Metelkova street 6).
