Towards an Archeology of Yugoslav Feminism: Remains, Memories, Censorships

The exhibition is dedicated to a critical review of Yugoslav feminism of the 1980’s with a focus on the World congresses of écriture feminine in Dubrovnik (1986-1990). Each video consists of documents, oral narratives, quotations, photos from personal archives, music and other representations of Yugoslav culture of the late 1980s. Each virtual exhibition room is dedicated to one of the congresses which took place in 1986, 1988 and 1990. The exhibition is accompanied by lectures and public discussions with researchers.
