Red Dawns and Bring In Take Out Living Archive present

Collective reading from the archive of migrant women workers as part of the GUESTures exhibition by Margareta Kern (UK)

The collective reading from the archive of migrant women workers is an opportunity to activate Margareta Kern’s “archive” through a collaborative act of reading. The reading material includes excerpts from interviews that Kern conducted with the migrant women from former Yugoslavia in Berlin (2009-2011). The collective reading is an invitation to perform an “archive” in an intimate and informal atmosphere, and through this process to open up the questions of voice and embodiment (of memories), and the role such a mobile  “archive” could play in production and/or subversion of historical authority.

In English. No entrance fee.
