TIMELINE 11.00 – 01.20 – ORLANDO 1.20 – 3.40 – SAVA 3.40 – 6.00 – RAKETA ******************************* ******************************* Orlando (ex. Pobalnika) released his premiere dj set right at Red Dawns, back in 2018 in Modri kot (RIP). The evening was opened by Improške, the place was made of burnt wood and cigarettes. Pobalnika, dressed in a red cap, was not the only one, because the carnival came late that year. Five years later, he still insists on kitschy electronic minor riffs and genre inconsistency. ******************************* Since the last ice age, when the glaciers disappeared, Sava has been carrying away its own debris. She likes high BPMs and synths. ******************************* Veronika Černe aka Raketa is a DJ, sound technician, and member of the music editorial staff at Radio Študent, a roller skater and student who has profiled herself as an expert on the British electronic scene (from jungle to grime and UK garage) and recent years has expanded her selection to American ghettotech as well, electro and footwork leads. As the curator of the Vibe check show on Radio Študent, she explores the layers of club culture and the good practices that live alongside it. Raketa’s production, hidden in the corners of the Internet, and her performances, manifests themselves as a ghetto-grime meme moment. ******************************* Farah Sara Kurnik aka Liara T’Soni is a visual artist from Ljubljana who creates in the field of graphic and industrial design, scenography, video and new technologies. He is currently studying at the Faculty of Science and Technology, majoring in graphic and media technology. She has already designed many graphic images of current Slovenian and foreign musicians, musical events, and exhibitions, within which she often takes on the role of VJ. Among other things, she is interested in experimenting with the medium of digital collage, in which she builds various artifacts of speculative reality.
