Sisterhood* across borders: Lesbian and queer feminist activism in the post-Yugoslav space You are kindly invited to the book presentation of Sisterhood And Unity: Lesbian Activism in the Post-Yugoslav Space and a debate on Thursday, 7 March 2019 at 18:00, at Anarcho-queer-feminist space, Autonomous factory Rog. *************************** In recent years, a number of international academic publications have engaged with the history and politics of lesbian and queer activism in the post-Yugoslav space. After the presentation at the Belgrade Befem festival in December 2018, one of the editors of this and other related volumes, along with two activists will introduce the latest publication entitled Sisterhood And Unity: Lesbian Activism in the Post-Yugoslav Space. Presenters: Maja Pan, Bojan Bilić, Teja Oblak Maja Pan is a feminist philosopher and a non-formal educator, active in the regional and transnational activism from 1997 onwards. Bojan Bilić is a political sociologist and researcher at the Institute for Social Sciences at the University of Lisbon. Teja Oblak collaborates with the collective of Lesbian Feminist University in Ljubljana and the feminist radio show Sektor Ž at Radio Student.
